Today I couldn't get up early. Usually this makes me somewhat angry because it means I need to work longer in the evening. But today I felt fine and seeing the soft sun light gave me inspiration to take some pictures. As the days are getting shorter now, each sunny day is highly appreciated in these latitudes.This card is Finnish artist Martta Wendelin's (1893-1986) illustration. She was well known for her postcards and children's book illustrations. I love them!

Joskus herääminen on vaikeaa, tänään oli sellainen päivä. Yleensä tämä saa minut jossain määrin äreäksi sillä se tarkoittaa, että joudun tekemään hommia myöhään iltaan asti. Pehmeä myöhäisen syksyn valo teki kuitenkin onnelliseksi. Samoin kuin suloisesti nokosilla oleva metsän henki Martta Wendelinin kortissa.
