It was late autumn when I made this flower planting and placed it outside by our porch. Now it's almost Christmas and the flowers are still going strong. I only took them inside the house that week when we had heavy snowing and minus degrees. The snow melted away (which is sad) but the flowers survived, I'm happy!Other day this week I was thinking of making some greeting cards. The cards are not made yet but they will be constructed of my bear, birdie and elk prints surrounded by some winter flowers. Like these in my surviving planting. I find some allegory here. Those of you who know my situation might understand what I'm talking about!

Tein myöhäissyksyllä tämän kukkaistutuksen ja laitoin sen rappumme pieleen. Kohta on jo joulu ja istutus on yhä hengissä. Otin sen sisään ainoastaan sillä viikolla kun satoi kovasti lunta ja oli pakkastakin. Lumi suli pois, mutta istutus selvisi, olen siitä onnellinen!
Tällä viikolla ajattelin tehdä uusia onnittelukortteja. Kortit eivät ole vielä valmiita, mutta niissä tulee olemaan karhu-, lintu- ja hirviprinttejäni talvikukkien ympäröiminä. Saman tapaisten kukkien kuin nämä tässä talven yllättämässä istutuksessani. Tässä on ehkä jotain vertauskuvallista. Ne teistä jotka tunnette tilanteeni saatatte ymmärtää mistä puhun!

ja du det tar tid att göra egna julkort, men det är kul! I år gjorde jag bara några, förra året gjorde jag massa..........
